Hope for Hattiesburg began in 2006 as a partnership forged between First Presbyterian Church and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church as the region recovered from Hurricane Katrina.
Today, part of Hope for Hattiesburg's mission includes assisting students and staff at Grace Christian Elementary School.
The Deacons and Church Women provide leadership to ministries of mercy among our people and to those who are needy in the community.
First Presbyterian Church provides prayer and financial support for nearly 60 missionaries and agencies as a means of extending the gospel around the world. The church conducts missions trips and hosts an annual missions conference to highlight our commitment to the cause of Christ at home and abroad.
Mission to the WorldOur church supports the work of church planting through partnerships with the Mid South Church Planting Network and Grace Presbytery. We also provide volunteers and supplies when the need arises through Mission to North America's Disaster Response program.
